Protone

Audiopoli Protone is a two-way active loudspeaker that members built in Audiopoli's 2023 speaker-building project. The goal was a high-quality active loudspeaker on a student budget.

Design

• Tweeter: SB Acoustics SB26ADC-C000-4, 1" dome in a Somasonus waveguide
• Woofer: SB Acoustics SB17MFC35-4, 6"
• Amplifier: ICEpower 50ASX2SE, a Class D module
• Crossover: custom active analog crossover
